Mifare Classic Support

Asked by Phil Burrows

Hi there,
I am using an SCL3711 reader with a Mifare Classic tag, which is working fine with libnfc.
I would love to be able to use it with nfcpy, but seem to be coming up against a few problems. I have searched the forums and it looks like Mifare Classic was going to be supported, but I don't know whether that came to fruition or not.

At the moment when I run sudo python tagtool.py then I get:
searching for a usable reader
searching for a usb bus reader
using SCM Micro SCL3711-NFC&RW at usb:007:005
touch a tag

I can wave the Mifare 1K (NXP MF1|CS50) tag to my hearts content, but it isn't recognised.
Thanks for looking.
Phil

It didn't came to fruition. No patch got ever submitted and my level of expertise is for the NFC Forum defined functionality (except for type 3 tags). Sorry for not having a better answer.
