nfcpy

Able to read mifare ultralight but not mifare classic.

Hi,

using the example tagtool.py I cannot get any data from a mifare classic tag, but I can
read without any problem mifare ultralight.

Any idea what can be?

Mifare Ultralight is an NFC Forum Type 2 Tag, Mifare Classic is not. Reading Mirfare Classic requires to use encryption keys and this is so far not implemented in nfcpy.

Can you help with this problem?
