Port-chain routing not working as expected

I am creating a simple linear chain with SRC and DST with two VNFs in between:

VM1->VM2->VM3->VM4

and I have successfully created the port-pairs, port-pair-groups and port-chain with a classifier (icmp traffic), but when I try to ping VM4 from VM1, the packets do not go through VM2 and VM3 (as they should in the chain). Can someone help me debug this ?
