Does nfc works with linuxbridge neutron mechanism?

I have a controller with nova, neutron, horizon, and cinder services, and also 2 compute nodes. I have a management network and a flat provider network working by linuxbridge mechanism.
Now, I want to deploy network function chaining in my openstack environment. Can I still use the linuxbridge or I shoul remove it and re-configure neutron with openvswitch?
