Can't Install Netflix -Desktop

Asked by Ryan Hoefferle

So I've had a heck of a time trying to install the neflix nesktop. I did get it installed earlier, but when the icon was clicked the program wouldn't launch. So I've tried several different things and now I'm totally stuck.

When I click on the link on the homepage to install the desktop I get a box with the tile "Error-AptUrl" and in the field it says the "Package'netflix-desktop is virtual". It then stops and exits.

Any ides?

Once you've added the repository (sudo apt-add-repository ppa:ehoover/compholio) and updated your package list (sudo apt-get update) then all you should need to do is install the virtual package and it will install everything else (sudo apt-get install netflix-desktop).

Can you help with this problem?
