Netflix Desktop

Failure to download

When I click on the link for Netflix Desktop located on this page (http://www.compholio.com/netflix-desktop/), I get a popup window asking me to choose an application with which to open the file. At which point, I am stumped. Sorry for the depth of my ignorance, but what am I doing wrong? Thanks!

That link uses the "apt URL" protocol, which requires some application to be associated with "apt:" for it to work. This should be the default on any recent Ubuntu version. You can alternatively install the application from the command line by running:
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:ehoover/compholio
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install netflix-desktop
