Are Wine patches being merged upstream?

Asked by Fry-kun

I'm on Fedora, so can't really use the PPA... and always compiling wine from source is not a lot of fun.
I've noticed that some of the Netflix-relevant patches are already merged upstream, but sounds like not all of them are. Is there any timeframe for when we won't need a custom compilation anymore?

I'm currently working to submit patches that fix regressions caused by some of the early Netflix patches, once those patches are accepted then I can focus on getting the rest of the Netflix patches in again. I am hoping to get back to the Netflix patches in the next week, but it's entirely possible I will need to redesign the patches to get them accepted.

Can you help with this problem?
