Setup netflix-desktop to work with a proxy

Apologies if this is simple and I have missed the documentation. I have a local proxy where all internet traffic must pass through port 8080 (for dansguardian) and I need to know how to launch Firefox to get configure it to us a proxy instead of just trying to pass all traffic through port 80. Since netflix-desktop has a custom version of wine installed, that maybe what is throwing me for a loop.

1) Press "F11" to exit full-screen mode
2) Press "Alt" to bring up the menu
3) Choose "Tools -> Options" from the menu
4) Choose the "Advanced" icon-based tab from the top of the dialog
5) Choose the "Network" tab from within the Advanced tab
6) Click the "Settings" button
7) Configure your proxy and then click "OK" for both dialogs
