ubuntu 8.10 issues

please, i tried to install the remix in my aspire one with ubunntu 8.10 and got this message:

Os pacotes a seguir têm dependências desencontradas:
  go-home-applet: Depende: libgnome-desktop-2 (>= 1:2.22) mas não é instalável
  human-netbook-theme: Depende: gtk2-engines-ubuntulooks mas não será instalado
  ume-launcher: Depende: libclutter-0.6-0 mas não é instalável
                Depende: libgnome-desktop-2 (>= 1:2.22) mas não é instalável
E: Pacotes quebrados

well, trying to translate...
packages with matchless dependecies...
go-home-applet depends on libgnome-desktop-2 (>= 1:2.22) but it cannot be installed

well, i have libgnome-desktop-2-7 .. but it seems to be useless...
i am using ubuntu 8.10 on a aspire one

can you please check the apt-source line (using system->admin->software sources) and make sure that you don't have the hardy source line (ume-launcher isn't used in hardy).

The source line should look like this for intrepid:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/netbook-remix-team/ubuntu intrepid main
