How to adjusting the icon size

Asked by Brandy Clark

I have an MSI U100-432US Netbook that I just installed UNR on and the icons are much larger than I care to have them. Is there a way to switch them to a smaller size? I am running a screen resolution of 1024x600 with the Human theme. I am not super Linux proficient - but I'm trying to learn.

Thanks in advance for any and everyone that can help.

Hi
You can try changing the icons via nautilus, they should be under the settings dialog of nautilus,i use Kubuntu so i cant give a exact idea, but i previously used ubuntu and changed the icon size via nautilus.

Hope you love lucid :)

I have a dell mini 10, with 1024x600 screen resolution. The netbook launcher icons are too big, and only 3 columns of icons are shown where 4 can fit perfectly. I'd like to attach a screenshot, but I can't see how.

The solution proposed, only works within nautilus, does not affect the netbook-launcher layout.

I searched the web too to find a answer for this question. But i did not find a solution. Is it in the layout file?
My Problem is, the text below the icons is too long to showed correct. On the left and on the right side some letters are missing.

Cheers,

I think it is not possible to change the icon size... I am an user too, but this launcher will be replaced with Unity in Ubuntu 10.10.

Regards ;D
