View man and info pages in Nautilus?

Asked by Sindhu S

Hi!

I came across this thread : http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/linux-newbie/42342-there-gui-man.html
and I know that there is no GUI for man and info pages (yet, at least), but konqueror has the ability to display man and info pages, why can't nautilus do that?

That may be a potentially useful idea for Nautilus, but I don't see how it would help. Reading man pages is as easy as "man <command>", so there's not really much of an overhead, unless you wanted a GUI that provides a list of commands on a sidebar or something similar.

Yes, it would be nicer if there was a GUI which showed all man pages available so I didnt have no reading material while I was learning more about the system, i could use this GUI and learn by myself!

cause often I have no clue what useful packages are installed on my system!
