Beep deleting files on Nautilus (del key)

Asked by Bobbix

I receive a beep deleting a file using nautilus (del. key).
How i can remove this beep ???

Pheraps the beep was activated after installing some addon for nautilus like nautilus-scripts, but now i've removed them all and i receive even the beep if i press the "del. key", i don't receive beep sound if i use nautilus menu to remove the file (like a keyboard problem).

Any idea?

I'm not sure about Nautilus beep settings, but you may be able to disable all beeps by running "xset b off" in a terminal.

This may not be what you're looking for, though. So, please re-open this question if it doesn't help. :)

actually not working. It also happens if you press the backspace key to go back 1 directory.
*annoying*
