Installation halts at "Running post-installation trigger menu"

When installing mythbuntu 8.10 beta for 64 bit system, the installation hangs at - Select and install software->Running post-installation trigger menu - with 85% completion. I have attempted the installation three times and hang-up at the same point on all attempts. This is on an AMD 64bit 6000+ dual processor system running 4 gigs of memory with a LVM setup on the harddrives. Harddrives and optical drives are SATA. Sorry if information is missing, this is my first attempt at submitting a bug report.

I did download and checked an iso image of 8.10 AMD64 today but could not get it to load, hanging up at the same point. I have reinstalled MythBuntu 8.04 AMD64 without any problems.

This problem is not present in 8.10rc AMD64 release
