AC3 volume level is lower than other audio types

Asked by Aaron Whitehouse

Hello all,

I find that a lot of the DVB-T recordings are really quiet. I have the
computer volume 100% and MythTV at 100%. Other recordings and videos are
fine, but the DVB-T recordings are just a shade quiet.

I know that DVB-T files are already encoded at a set volume, so the only
thing that I can think of is transcoding them or similar.

Has anybody else noticed/dealt with this problem?

Regards,

Aaron

Hopefully the patch at http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/6569 makes it upstream soon.

I thought I would put it in here for others to find.
