how to use mysqlsand box

Asked by chaitanya on 2008-09-22

hi all , this may be a silly question for all the legends here....
but it is a huge problem for me.
can u give me any guidence for how to use this sandbox .
i treied to follow the tutorial given by Giuseppe Maxia. which was given in 2006. overview of using mysql sand box. but i found there are many changes in the recent versions. i am using this to create multiple instances like 7 and to do the circular replication using these instances.
if any one can guide me that is very helpful for me .
thank you

Dear Giuseppe Maxia ,
i am the happiest person in the whole world just the reason is that i got Reply from you sir.
i have succesfully installed sandbox now the single server sandbox. i am just wondering that i read the ReadMe file where it is mentioned that we can do multiple sandboxes with out any replication between those members.
Actually my requirement is to create 7 multiple instances of mysql and to do circular replication between those instances.
do this requirement can be fulfiled by the mysql sandbox2.0 ?

thanks a lot

the links mentioned in my previous answer cover also standard and circular replication.
You may also find solace by running
 ./make_replication_sandbox --help
