Feature request: multi-monitor compatibility

I use my laptop about half of the time with external monitor, keyboard and mouse on my desk.
Unfortunately this means that I have to drag 2 my-weather-indicator desktop widgets to the top-right position each time.
What's worse, I cannot see them at all if I switch back to laptop mode without dragging them somewhere to the center before.
Therefore I think it would be great if this can be fixed to ensure compatibility with such a multi-monitor use.
For example, by saving the position from the right edge of the screen instead of the current left???
