How are weather services selected to be included ?

Asked by mohican

Hi, could you give somes clues about how you choose to include or not some web weather services ?

I have noticed that changes occur quite often.
For example, lately Google service was removed.

What are the pro and cons of the various services ?
For instance, do you know how often their weather information is updated ?
Do they all use the same measurement stations or some of them use only a subset of available stations ?
Could you make a small comparison table ?

I try to include all "free" weather services that I find. In the last days, Google, remove its Service, and it is the reason, that I remove this service. If you want to use Wunderground Service you must pay for it, so I removed too. I try to talk with Wunderground people, offering this open source application, but they didn't pay attencion.

Some services are better than others, in some countries, but I didn't have time, to investigate about this. This is the reason for include more services.

I didn't know how often the information is updated, and if all of them are using same stations.

Can you possibly add gismeteo.ru for Russia and sinoptik.ua for Ukraine? The give very accurate predictions.

Can you help with this problem?
