English language translation errors

Sorry, if this is a simple question, but is there a way to modify the English (US) translations? I can only change the British ones. There are some mispellings and some just don't make sense (e.g. the first tab of the preferences screen is called "Ubication"). Thanks.

Mispellings are in source code. You can tell me all the misspellings you found and I try to correct all them.

Thank you, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. Here are a few that I noticed:

Milimeteres -> Millimeters
Refresh frecuency -> Refresh frequency
Application Web... -> Homepage

Not sure about these below, since they are specific conditions which are real things, but I'm guessing they might be worded differently. For instance, I've never seen funnel clouds reported as a weather condition, so I thought maybe you meant tornados.

Funnel cloud -> Tornado
Small hail -> Graupel (if you really do mean small pellets of hail)
     or -> Light hail (if you mean not too much of it is falling)
