Can I add all the track from an album to a playlist?

Asked by jtappin

Is there any way to add multiple tracks to a playlist? All I have been able to find is an option to add the current track to a playlist, which is not very convenient for (say) an opera with many files that appears in the albums listing as more than one album.

Alternatively where are playlists stored and in what format? (e.g. if they are m3u it would be quite easy to use ls in the terminal to do what I want).

Yes you can, if you press and hold on a song then you can check multiple songs. Then from the header select the overflow button (the top right) and select add to playlist as usual.

Currently they are stored in localstorage (sqlite), but this may move to a m3u format in the near-medium future :-)

Thanks, that's what I needed. (Even a "Select all" button) :-)
