Server configuration

Hello Roger...

I'm working on a push notification system, and I choose Mosquitto as the broker for our system.
The problem is that we stuck at 28k online users after tuning kernel. Our OS of choice is CentOS.

As I can see, your test Mosquitto instance running on test.mosquitto.org is having about 60K concurrent users.
I want to know which OS are you using? Which kernel parameters you tuned specifically.

Any suggestions on this matter?

Actually the version of mosquitto running on test.mosquitto.org is experimental code and has a bug related to client counting. So 50,000 isn't quite right :)
