mosquitto

can i restrict who can publish to a specific topic?

I have set up mosquitto and i have some clients that are all subscribed to the same topic. depending on the push-message the clients do different things. is there a way to make sure that only i can push messages to a specific topic? say for example a topic/ip-address based access restriction.

It's not currently possible to restrict topic access on mosquitto, but it's definitely something I'm planning on looking into.
