Elisa PPA packages updated for Intrepid

Asked by Matthew Wardrop

Hello Elisa developers,

You are doing some very nice work, and for those who like to keep up to date (without compiling everything due to time constraints), the ppa @: http://ppa.launchpad.net/elisa-developers/ is very helpful. Only problem: These packages are built for Hardy. This in itself would not be a problem, except that the libffi packages have been updated, and require to be recompiled for that new library version. This, of course, means that Intrepid/Jaunty users cannot try the later versions. And... well... they are more likely to want to, surely!

If it can be done, without too much fuss, it would be much appreciated.

Kind Regards,
Matthew
