Binary-release for monouml

Asked by elDarioz

Can you release a compiled version of MonoUml? You should compile and release it in .svn/trunk/monouml/bin, with various ExportCoder, nUML, nini .dll ....so a new user, as me, can try MonoUml only with a subversion checkout!
I propose this way, because I'm unable to compile the MonoUml source, and I don't find a complete document that can help me...
thanks

Current version in svn doesn't need to copy any binary file to the bin folder, but you need to install ExpertCoder and nUML before building MonoUML.

We are planning to release a new version sooner.

....How can install ExpertCoder and nUML? Perhaps,I have to build them from source?
But for loading a .NET dll, I only need to copy this into the correct directory...why install??
I think I'll wait the new version...

You can use it for running it, but if you are building MonoUml from sources you would need to have installed those two packages first.

I'll try to release a "preview-version" soon to let you try it.

I have some problems, see https://answers.launchpad.net/monouml/+question/23294 for detail.
Anyway, I think that, for a new user as me, there are too many problems on installing MonoUML from source ; Although I'm a .NET (on windows platform) developer, in this case my real interest was to try the program, and to see it in action....
I wait your preview-version with Impatience :)
