Reinfection has been documented, but it is extremely rare; for practical purposes, infectious mononucleosis confers immunity to subsequent attacks. Blood donation should be avoided for about 6 months to avoid passing on the infection through your white blood cells.

Conversely, los monos enjoy a spirited game of tag. You may find yourself caught by un mono before catching it a second time.

I must be infected with mono for some years now. I didn't realize it was a disease.
Maybe I should write an Epstein-toolBarr in mono.
