Was top margin height changed between 1.2 and 1.5 for the classical letter style ?

Asked by John Christopher

I had been using moderncv 1.2 for some time and decided it was time to upgrade to the latest version (1.5.1 at the moment).

I have a slightly modified moderncvstyleclassic.sty so I ported my modifications to 1.5.1 and the transition when smoothly for both CV and letters.

The only thing that changed seems to be the top margin when using the classic style and generating only a letter (no cv) (haven't tried the other styles since I don't use them): it is now 1em higher than before.

Did the dimensions change between those versions or did I mess up something in the style ?

Feel free to answer in French if suited.

It turns out I somehow forgot about an empty \begin{flushright}\end{flushright} block in some versions of my modified modernstyleclassic.sty that was pushing the content down.
