moderncv

support other languages than english

Hi,

I really like the style of this curriculum vita and I want to use an enclosure in the letter option.

My problem is, that I was not able to redefine "enclosure" to another word like "Anhang" in german.
Is there a way to do this and / or are there any plans to support other languages than english?

Hi David,

It's now part of the 1.1.0 release of moderncv, which should be released in a few days.
You can now either specify another string as optional argument to \enclosure or redefine \enclname.

Just out of curiosity, are you going to update the files on CTAN? I'm using TeXLive and I have no idea how to manually update the provided package, so I am relying on the TeXLive update.

Of course. Each release is always uploaded to CTAN on the same day it is uploaded here, but it takes a few days for the update to be installed there and to propagate to the various mirrors. Just be patient for 1 or 2 days :)
