Bug: Errors occurred

Hi,

I have the following problem by starting the program:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "mnemosyne", line 101, in ?
  File "mnemosyne\core\mnemosyne_core.pyc", line 199, in initialise
  File "mnemosyne\core\mnemosyne_core.pyc", line 352, in init_config
UnicodeDecodeError: 'ascii' codec can't decode byte 0xe9 in position 34: ordinal not in range(128)

But please be aware: I´m not a programmer, I tried to solve the problem by using some bug recommandations on this site, but I can´t follow them. Please, if you can help me (hopefully) give me a step by step advise how to solve this bug.
