Cyrillic text not auto-enlarged as non-latin alphabet.

Asked by J. Shaw

I am under the impression that Cyrillic/Russian letters are non-Latin, and so, when I use the option to "Increase the size of non-latin [sic] characters by x points," I would, mostly, expect the characters to be enlarged by Mnemosyne while running through some Russian cards, and I find this not to be so. There is one character, an apostrophe from pronunciation guides, that *is* made x points larger, while all of the others remain the same size as the default font. I am confused by this behavior, and hope that there is some way to set things straight, because it is a very nice feature--how might this be done?

2.x has a different way of treating this, there you can set the font size for e.g. Russian fields separately. The 1.x option of 'increase size of non latin characters' is an ugly hack which will go away.

Can you help with this problem?
