Will sync ever sync beats?

As of now, sync syncs BPM. Will it ever be able to sync beats too, so that two songs melt into one (for lack of a better phrase?)

Yes syncing beats is something we're pursuing for 1.8.5 -- unfortunately we don't have enough time to get it ready for 1.8.0.
