Could be more efficient with WxWidgets?

I've seen that Mixxx depends on QT4, and this can take more resources than any other window interface library.

WxWidgets could be a better solution, even for non Unix systems?

You've cited no evidence to support:

a) that anything would be more efficient then Qt4 for UI
b) that the difference on modern hardware (i.e. a machine with 1GB of RAM or more) would be statistically significant

That being said, if you'd like to contribute a patch proves WxWidgets would be much more efficient by replacing Qt4 in Mixxx, we'd be happy to look at it.
