'Cue_gotoandplay' doesn't always toggle 'play_indicator' with 'scratchEnabled'

This happens apparently 'random':
* I load a track
* I touch the respective platter of my controller
  > this triggers 'engine.scratchEnable(deck, 800, 33+1/3, alpha, beta)'
* I hit 'Cue_gotoandplay'
* I release the platter
  > tracks starts playing
  > [ChannelN],play = 1 (I see this in skin, it's like keeping HotCue pressed to preview)
  > [ChannelN],play_indicator = 0 (LED on controller/indicator in skin don't light up)

I didn't manage to reproduce it, but it happens at least twice a session (~40 tracks played).
What could it be?
