mixxx doesnt start

I downloaded mixxx for a fresh install on a new system but I cannot open the program. It initially asked for my music folder after installation and first run, then the query disappeared, then "mixxx has stopped working" is displayed

I tried both 32 and 64bit versions reinstall getting the same problem. I'm running a laptop with win7 with 6gb ram on intel core i7. here are the error logs. thoughts?

This points to a problem with your video driver. First try upgrading your video driver (or reinstalling if it's the latest version.) Make sure to check ATI's site as well as your PC manufacturer's.

If that doesn't help, edit mixxx.cfg, set WaveformType to 0 to disable them, then try starting Mixxx.
