iTunes playlists

Since Mixxx has added support for reading the main iTunes library, would it be possible to read iTunes playlists as well? I have several manual and smart playlists that I would love to be able to use without exporting/importing them every time they change.

Hey Smashuu,

Mixxx can read iTunes playlists --are they not showing up for you? The iTunes section should be expandable and you will see any playlists which contain tracks in the playlist. Unfortunately, iTunes Smart Playlists are proprietary and not stored in a way we can decode -- so we won't be able to use those.

Ah, they are there, but the disclosure triangle's not showing, so I didn't realize it was expandable. Filing a bug for it.

Curiously, I see that some of my iTunes smart playlists ARE working correctly in Mixxx...
