How do I see the menubar, bookmarks, or anything?

Asked by Lindsay Keir

I assume there is supposed to be a gear-icon, or something - there isn't.

I "think" I originally tried a .deb install from your site - no luck.

I now have installed a Mint 19.3 flatpak install - no luck.

The Mint 19.3 flatpak imidori start icon is
   /usr/bin/flatpak run --branch=stable --arch=x86_64 --command=midori --file-forwarding org.midori_browser.Midori @@u %U @@

I found the /home/lindzay/.config/midori/config ... it contains

[settings]
last-window-width=1920
last-window-height=1143
toolbar-items=TabNew,Back,ReloadStop,Homepage,Location,BookmarkAdd,CompactMenu

[extensions]
libadblock.so=true
libcolorful-tabs.so=true
libstatus-clock.so=true
libstatusbar-features.so=true

Shouldn't toolbar-items have a BookmarkShow or something?

Pressing on ...

The Ubuntu question site said to install using Snap Store, which I did, on a different PC, just to be clean.

This was ... midori v8.0-31-gf6b3b1e from Christian Dywan (kalikiana) installed

The browser
* still has no menu
* and, going backwards, the add bookmark only has the [Remove Bookmark]

Ah well, maybe next month
