ELAN Touchscreen is being ignored even with GTK 3.4

Asked by Dima Neiaglov

Hi,

I have Midori 0.5.11 working on Ubuntu 15.04 with an ELAN Touchscreen. The touchscreen is being properly recognised by all GTK applications, e.g. I can drag-scroll with my finger in GEdit, GTerm etc. I have gtk-touchscreen-mode=1 in both ~/.gtkrc-2.0 and ~/.config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini. It also works fine with Chrome.

In Midori, however, the drag-scroll gesture results in text selection and not scrolling. Since MIDORI_TOUCHSCREEN has long been depreciated I now haven't got the foggiest idea on how I should configure Midori to respond to a drag-scroll.

Would appreciate any help.
