Are you using Midori on Windows? Is the issue that it's impossible to change the system wide language? If that's the case adding a language selector would be doable as a Window-specific enhancement.

I wouldn't see the use case for other systems where it's normally trivial to change the system language.

Hi

Changing system wide language is possible on my PC (windows) but somehow on
office pc, we aren't allowed to do that and the bad news is, i am far more
familiar with interface using english rather than my native language

User has to change the OS language to use another language in single app? That's just plain stupid. Not all translations are complete, and some are just badly done, rendering the whole experience annoying at best and might make the application unusable altogether. My solution was to find the language I DIDN'T want to use and just delete the folder (in share/locale). That's quite extreme, but so is the stupidity of forcing user to change it's OS language. No wonder open source, despite millions of participants, and millions upon millions of internet forums, is still not kicking corporate ass.

Addition to this issue. My system language is English, the system regional setting is Indonesian then Midori use Indonesian as interface language. So it is not looking at system language but system regional settings
