Midori Web Browser

NULL on my Midori screen

When i open my Midori browser, I get this message

(null)' can't be found

The page '(null)' couldn't be loaded:
URL cannot be shown

Check the address for typos
Make sure that an ethernet cable is plugged in or the wireless card is activated
Verify that your network settings are correct

This message started appearing when I downloaded FireFox Web Browser for Bodhi Linux. Is there a way I can fix Midori? I've tried removing and reinstalling it but nothing helps. Any solutions on what to do?

I've had this problem for several days now. I would also like to know how to set up a homepage on Midori once the issue has been resolved. Thanks.
