Can I send commands to Midori while it is running?

Asked by Matt Langemeier

midori --help-execute shows a lot of commands. Many of these commands seem to have no obvious use if executed at startup, like Forward, FindNext, ScrollRight, Reload, etc. Is it possible to send commands to midori while it is running? If so, how? I am using Midori 0.4.3 on a Raspberry Pi running Debian "wheezy". I am most interested in executing a webpage refresh/reload via a Python script.

Yes, you can.

"midori -e Reload" for instance reloads the current tab in the current window in the running instance.

Can you help with this problem?
