Channel 1 has encountered a fraction of 0.374 of numerically unstable loop matrix element computations

Asked by ouseph cj

Dear MadGraph Experts,

I am working on the following process in MadGraph: p p > h zp [QCD], and I am initiating the decays h > b b~ and zp > nu nu using the MadSpin card, where zp is a top-philic Z-prime boson. However, the simulation ends with an error message stating:

Command "generate_events run_01" interrupted with error:
Exception: Channel 1 has encountered a fraction of 0.374 of numerically unstable loop matrix element computations (which could not be rescued using quadruple precision). The results cannot be trusted.
Please report this bug on https://bugs.launchpad.net/mg5amcnlo
More information is found in '/root/MG5_aMC_v2_7_3/11/run_01_tag_1_debug.log'. Please attach this file to your report.

Could you please advise on how to resolve this error? Do I need to adjust any parameters in the MadLoop card to improve numerical stability?

Thank you very much for your help.

Best regards,
Ouseph
