Trouble generating certain processes

Asked by Nitish Polishetty

Hi everyone, this might be a really simple fix, but I'm still quite new to MadGraph, so here it goes.

I'm trying to generate the following process:
generate p p > w+ b~ a

However, MadGraph is throwing the following error:
NoDiagramException : No amplitudes generated from process Process: g/u/c/d/s/u~/c~/d~/s~ g/u/c/d/s/u~/c~/d~/s~ > w+ b a WEIGHTED=6 @1. Please enter a valid process

However, given the processes I've run before with p p > t b, the above process shouldn't have an issue generating. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

For me the following command
import model sm-no_b_mass
generate p p > t b
also crash with NoDiagramException

Not sure what I can do to help...

I guess it meant "p p > t b~" which should be doable.

For the original question, "generate p p > w+ b~ a" not working, is there available feynman diagram that you can show? Already from charge conservation it doesn't work. There is no parton combination that can give you +1(w+) +1/3(b~) +0(a) = +4/3 charge.

Can you help with this problem?
