Unable to establish SSL connection.

I tried to install ninja from Madgraph, but when I ran the command >install ninja, the following message showed up:

I found that wget -- no check certificate https://ninja.hepforge.org/downloads//ninja-1.1.0.tar.gz Changing HTTPS to HTTP in can solve this problem, so I change the local file MG5_ AMC_ V2_ 9_ 17/HEPTools/HEPToolsInstallers/HEPToolInstaller.py, but every time I use the install command, it always delete this file and download the same file from the internet, which makes me feel very confused. I would like to know if there is a way to download using local files without deleting them

Hi,
May I suggest that given such an installation error for any packages withing MG5, to try to install the packages as standalone and provide the complete path in mg5_configuration.txt. It should work completely fine.

Hi,

The issue is that hepforge website is down (quite common those days), and therefore the source are not available.
So they are no real solution here since even if I provide instructions on how to get the source and install them manually, the error will be the same: the sources are not currently available.

I'm actually currently setting madgraph mirror to avoid to rely on hepforge server to try to limit the issue.
