ninja installation problem

Dear expert,

Hello, I'm a student who wants to use the Madgraph.

I'm stuck with the installation of ninja for one-loop calculation, which is by the looptools.

First, I failed the installation ninja my the "install ninja" in MG5 command line.

So, I downloaded the ninja file from wget in "HEPTools" folder in MG5,

and I firstly configure the file by

./configure --prefix=/Users/jeong/Particle/Madgraph/MG5_aMC_v3_4_2/HEPTools/ninja/ --enable-higher_rank --with-avholo=-L/Users/jeong/Particle/Madgraph/MG5_aMC_v3_4_2/HEPTools/oneloop FCINCLUDE=-I/Users/jeong/Particle/Madgraph/MG5_aMC_v3_4_2/HEPTools/oneloop CXX=gcc CXXFLAGS=-O2 CPPFLAGS=-DNINJA_NO_EXCEPTIONS --enable-quadninja LIBS=-lc++

Then, when I type, "make install"

the error message came out :

I guess this is a macos specific issue. Which version of the OS are you using? Which type of chip are you using?
If you have an M1 chip, installing c++ code compatible with gfortran can be(actually is) quite tricky.

My current advise is to fully relly on GCC and do not use the native clang version (which seems to be your case).
This is at least the way I succesfully (after months of try) setup my mac.

Sorry forget to say that ninja is OPTIONAL, the code can run without it, so you can run NLO computation even if that instalation is not working.
