Cannot display Feynman diagrams while using Madgraph in "Ubuntu for Windows"

Asked by Susobhan Chattopadhyay

I am unable to display Feynman diagrams while using madgraph from the terminal of "Ubuntu for Windows". I am getting the following error:
Not able to open file /tmp/diagrams_1_uux_ttx.eps since no program configured. Please set one in ./input/mg5_configuration.txt

I usually use the x11 server and open pdf files using xdg-open from the terminal which works fine.

The detailed terminal output is as follows:

MG5_aMC>generate u u~ > t t~
