"generate_events run_01" interrupted with error:

Dear madgraph experts,
I am simulating the following process

Madgraph version(VERSION 2.7.3 )

import model sm
define p = g u c d s u~ c~ d~ s~
define j = g u c d s u~ c~ d~ s~
define l+ = e+ mu+
define l- = e- mu-
define vl = ve vm vt
define vl~ = ve~ vm~ vt~
define p1 = p b b~
generate p1 p1 > t j a a
add process p1 p1 > t~ j a a

I am getting the following error, How can I solve this
Error when reading /root/MG5_aMC_v2_7_3/SM/SubProcesses/P1_qb_tqaa/G17/results.dat
Command "generate_events run_01" interrupted with error:
ValueError: could not convert string to float:

Hi,

2.7.3 is a too old version that we are not able to support anymore.
I have tested your command with the Long Term Stable version (2.9.16) and there I do not reproduce your issue.
So my suggestion would be to test with the Long Term Stable version of the code.

If that's not possible for you.
Then you should look at the log file present in this directory
/root/MG5_aMC_v2_7_3/SM/SubProcesses/P1_qb_tqaa/G17/
and maybe with the error message you can track it to an old bug report.
