ISR++beamstrahlung effects

Asked by Ribella

Dear Editors,

I have a question related to ISR++beamstrahlung effects at e-e+ collisions.
I will write the following codes in the run.card section to include these effects in the e-e+>a a a process with center-of-mass energy of 3 TeV, but I wanted to get confirmation from you about its correctness. Here is the statement I will write in the code

     +3 = lpp1 ! beam 1 type
     -3 = lpp2 ! beam 2 type
     clic3000ll=isronlyll
    1500.0 = ebeam1 ! beam 1 total energy in GeV
    1500.0 = ebeam2 ! beam 2 total energy in GeV

Are these statements true?

Best Regards.

That line does not make sense.
    clic3000ll=isronlyll

Cheers,

Olivier

Thank you for your reply. However, where should I use the clıc3000ll parameter for CLIC in Run.card?

You should assign that value to the pdlabel parameter.

  Is it true as follows?
     +3 = lpp1 ! beam 1 type
     -3 = lpp2 ! beam 2 type
     clic3000ll=pdflabel
    1500.0 = ebeam1 ! beam 1 total energy in GeV
    1500.0 = ebeam2 ! beam 2 total energy in GeV

The statements you provided seem to be defining the beam energies and types, but they do not include any information about the specific effects you want to include in the e+e- > aa process. Therefore, I cannot confirm whether these statements are correct or not in relation to your intended goal.

To include specific effects in a process using a Monte Carlo event generator such as Pythia, you need to specify the relevant settings and parameters in the Pythia card. The specific settings depend on the effects you want to include.

If you can provide more information on the specific effects you want to include, I can provide more guidance on how to set up your Pythia card accordingly.
