Command "generate_events " interrupted with error: InvalidCmd : No event file corresponding to run_01 run.

Asked by Guglielmo Coloretti

Dear all,

Apologies for asking so many questions :)

I have latest version of MadGraph on latest version of Ubuntu.

When I am trying to generate a large number of events (say 100k), the generation breaks and report an error which I find hard to understand. If I am generating a smaller number of events, all works fine.
I was wondering if there is a way to ask MadGraph to use more resources (I should have largely enough).

So it seems that your issue is with ExRootAnalysis which is a converter from our output file (lhef) to root format.
I do not know that converter and can not help on it.

Sorry,

Olivier
