complex mass scheme

Asked by Halley_X

Hi,

I generate a process like e- u > ve d h at NLO, and I set complex mass scheme true before import model, but in my case the gauge boson propogators are stable and I want to know whether cms have no effects on my results.
I also generate the process without set complex mass scheme true , but the finite term is a little different with the first one. I'm confused about it.

Best regards
Halley

Dear Halley,

If you set complex mass scheme to be true/false and set all particle's widths are zero, yes, in principle, you should get the same result. Otherwise, if you do not se all widths are zero, you may see the difference.

Btw, what is your imported model ?

Best,

Hua-Sheng

Thanks , it solved my problem. My import model is loop_qcd_qed_sm_Gmu.

Sincerely,
