Separate the signal from the background

Asked by Sarah

Hello

I generated the process in 2HDM gg > l+l- h [QCD]
I got diagrams s channel with z mediators, A (cp Higgs Boson) mediators ,box diagram and triangle diagrams.
MY signal is g g > A > l+l- h

how can I separate the matrix elements of my signal (with A propagator and box diagram (interfering diagram)) from the matrix element of the background (diagrams without A propagator)

I want to compare the contribution of the signal to the contribution of the background.

thank you

Is process has no tree-level contribution right?

This does not seem trivial. Can you provide the file displaying the Feynman Diagram?
(and indicate which one you want to keep and which one you want to discard)

I guess that the only way here is to hardcode a loop diagram filtering within python.
But if I do see the diagram maybe they are an easier way to do it.

Cheers,

Olivier

thank you Olivier,
I found difficulty to share the Feynman diagrams file, but they are the same as fig 2 in this article

I have to mentioned that only the gluon gluon fusion ( the diagrams in the second line)

I do not see any simple syntax for that.
The easiest is likely to modify the UFO model to remove the ZZH interaction.

Olivier
