Error detected in "generate_events run_01" (Histogram with run_id '0' was not found in the specified XML source)

Asked by Sebastian Urrutia-Quiroga

I just installed MG5 v3.3.2 on my Linux machine. Both Python (v3.9) and ROOT(v.26) were installed using conda.

I tested a very simple example (generate p p > e+ e-) but I got the following error message when running PY8:

Hi Olivier,

I might be mistaken, but the suggestions there are meant to be directed to a cluster run rather than a multi-core personal machine. Is this correct?

Thanks a lot,
Sebastian

You need to adapt the path obviously but the fix/issue is likely the same.

Cheers,

Olivier
