the parameter tan beta in 2hdm type 1

Asked by Sarah

Hello MG5 experts,
I want to study the cross section of g g > A > h z [noborn=QCD] in 2HDM type 1 as function of tan beta.

I imported the model 2HDM_NLO
after Launching the process, I don't find the parameter tan beta as input value in the parameter card.

Do you know how can I put it as input value?

best regards

Hi,

Sorry, I'm not a 2HDM expert and not the author of that particular model.
So the only reference that I can give you to look at is
https://feynrules.irmp.ucl.ac.be/wiki/2HDM
and the associated references within that link:
    " CP violation ", G. Branco, L. Lavoura and J. P. Silva, Clarandon Press, Oxford, 1999. Chapter 22.
"Automatic evaluation of UV and R2 terms for beyond the Standard Model Lagrangians: a proof-of-principle", Celine Degrande, Comput.Phys.Commun. 197 (2015) 239-262.

With those information a 2HDM expert should know how to relate tan(beta) to the input parameter of the model.

Cheers,

Olivier

Hi,

I'm not a 2HDM expert but Iwill try to give you the solution.

“Official” interface between the two codes:

   1. Set up of cross secDon calculaDon using SusHi
   2. SpecificaDon of 2HDM parameters in SusHi input
   3. Linking to 2HDMC for calculaDon of physical masses and mixings,
theoreDcal constraints, and branching raDos (output)
   4. CalculaDon of bb/gg->h/H/A cross secDons with SusHi
Proposed interface uses linking between the two codes, final results
in SusHi output file, intermediate 2HDMC results can also be saved in
separate file

The second method is

Block SUSHIggh # Bon appetit
1 2.69401396E-01 # ggh XS in pb
Block SUSHIbbh # Bon appetit
1 1.22990787E+00 # bbh XS in pb
SusHi cross sec+ons with 2HDMC
§ TesDng on-going, public version in preparaDon
§ Available for interested LHCXSWG members for early tests

I hope this thing will help you to solve your problem https://medsfit.com/ and I will be happy if your problem solved.
